Last year, Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra (NYPCO)’s first Korean pop music concert, K-Attack! received an overwhelming response and performed to a sold-out concert. Catch more of your K-pop favourites as NYPCO returns with K-Attack II! They will be performing hit songs from SNSD, Super Junior, T-ARA, 2AM, Big Bang, IU, SHINee, JYJ and more on Chinese classical instruments.
Formed in 1996, the Orchestra has grown from 45 members to the current 155, comprising full-time students as well as alumni. Leading the reins is conductor Mike Chiang. Together, the Orchestra and Mike challenge themselves by breaking out of traditional modes of Chinese music and exploring diverse repertoires over a range of genres from Chinese, Japanese Pop to Western Classical music.
Performance is on Saturday , 3rd November, 5pm at the Esplanade Concert Hall. It will be a 1 hour 30 min concert without any intermission.
The ticket sales will be handled by SISTIC and is priced at $15.
